Royals Volleyball Summer Camp 2026

Vernon Christian School is excited to host the Royals Volleyball Summer Camp 2026, a week of skill development, teamwork, and volleyball fun for boys and girls entering Grades 5–7 in September 2026. Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to improve your game, this camp provides high-quality instruction in a positive, encouraging environment.

Camp Details
Dates: Monday, August 24 – Friday, August 28, 2026
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. daily
Check-In: 8:45 a.m.
Location: Vernon Christian School Gym
Cost: $125 per participant
Early Bird Rate: $110 when registered by Monday, June 22, 2026
Camp Includes
- Individual camp t-shirt
- Daily prize giveaways
- Instruction from experienced coaches and senior athletes
- Skill development in all areas of the game
What Players Will Learn
Participants will receive instruction in:
- Underhand passing, positioning, footwork, serve-receive, and digging
- Overhead volley passing and setting
- Underhand and overhand serving techniques
- Blocking footwork and arm action
- Spiking mechanics, body positioning, and ball placement
- Competition preparation, including mental focus and nutrition
Experienced Coaching Staff
The camp is led by Chris Bannick, who brings decades of coaching experience at the school, club, and provincial levels. Instruction will also be provided by current and former Royals athletes.
What to Bring
Players should bring:
- Running shoes
- Shorts and t-shirt
- Knee pads (optional)
- Socks
- Water bottle or juice boxes
- Healthy snacks such as fruit or granola bars
Registration Information
Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Completed registration forms can be emailed to cbannick@vcs.ca or dropped off at the VCS Secondary Campus office. Refunds will not be issued after August 1, 2026.
