Due to ongoing construction, we have made temporary changes to the parking lot flow. These changes are in effect until the new parking lot (on our new property) is completed.
Dismissal Times
- EC (K–6): 2:55 PM
- SC (7–12): 3:05 PM
Supervision & Playground Use
- Staff supervision: 8:00 AM – 3:15 PM (Mon–Fri)
- Playground use: Reserved for K–2 students until 3:15 PM
- Parents: Please wait outside the playground fence for pick-up
VCS Main Parking Lot Instructions
Staggered Pick-up:
- EC-only families: Arrive at 2:50–2:55 PM. Students must be picked up between 2:55-3:05. Unfortunatly we are not able to allow play time after dismissal.
- SC & EC/SC families: Arrive after 3:05 PM
This staggered approach helps reduce congestion.
Lane Designation:
- Lane 1: Access to Preschool–Grade 2 & appointment parking
- Lane 2: Drop-off/pick-up staging & merge lane
- Lane 3: Additional drop-off/pick-up staging
Crosswalk Use (Mandatory)
- All students, parents, and caregivers must use the designated crosswalk between the lot and campuses
- Follow attendants’ directions at all times
- This promotes safety and consistency for independent walkers
Pick-Up Reminders
- Kindergarten: Pick up at exterior classroom doors
- Grades 1–2:
- Option 1: Pick up from the playground
- Option 2: Students may walk to parking lot
- Pick-up lane rules:
- Pull forward fully before stopping
- Exit/enter from the passenger side of vehicle when possible
- Never leave your vehicle unattended
- Do not stop on the crosswalk
- Turn right only when exiting the lot (8:00 AM–3:30 PM)
- No cell phone use while driving
- Upper Lot: Students must wait on the sidewalk (no playing on grass hillside)
Parking Spaces
- Reserved after school for PreK–Gr 2 families until 3:05 PM
