Grades 7-12 had a chance to listen to Amalia Boe-Fishman, a Dutch Jewish survivor of the Holocaust, during our Remembrance Day chapel today.  Amalia’s story of being in hiding and separated from her birth family during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands made a significant impact on both students and staff.  Special thanks to Ellie Lawson of the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre for helping to coordinate this special Zoom event for us.
