Dear Parents of Children in Grades K to 7
Your child is eligible to join the Cross Country Running Team for Kindergarten to grade 7
- Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunchtime recess.
- K-1 Run 900 meters
- 2-3 Run 900 meters
- 4-5 Run 1.5 km
- 6-7 Run 2 km
- There are 3 Wednesday afternoon races:
– Sept 24 – Marshall Fields– Oct 1 – DND Grounds– Oct 8 – JW Inglis Lumby
A mandatory $10 registration fee is required for the season – Due date Sept 19th. Pay by cash or cheque to Jen Cramer in the EC office.

- Once payment is received, your child has been registered
- Students MUST be registered to race
Please make sure your child knows they are registered
- All registered students will be transported TO each race by bus
Bus will leave VCS at 1:50 for DND and Marshall field races, and 1:30 for the Lumby race
- A parent or guardian must PICK UP their child from each race.
- Parents must pick up their child at 3:30 from the race.
