This year we have a new Driven to Serve team that’s serving the community and beyond through textile projects.
Some avenues they are excited to explore:
- sewing aprons for the VCS campuses
- making toys and usable items for Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Shoebox ministry 2018
- sewing blankets for sick kids in Vernon Jubilee Hospital
To make this possible, we are asking for donations of unused fabric. Larger pieces will be used for aprons and smaller cuts can be used for toys and blankets. You can drop these off at the SC or EC Office and let the secretary know it’s for SC DTS.
