What is Make Way? You have probably seen ‘Make Way’ posters, banners, logos, etc, throughout our Campus and online over the past months. This is our rallying cry and theme for the VCS expansion project.
It helps to present imagery of unlocking potential, proclaiming the vision for expansion, and projecting the way forward at VCS. In a literal sense, we are making way for more students while continuing to provide excellent education to current students.
How Can You Get Involved? Students and families are invited to participate in the following Make Way events
Students, wear your MakeWay t-shirt or our school colours – blue & yellow.
We will have special ‘Make Way Days’ and events where you can wear them and spread awareness about the project…
May 14th Full School Buddy Day

- School-wide ‘Make Way’ activity
- Bring in a toonie / loonie towards our building goal
- Fun and snacks are part of this day…
- Wear your Make Way t-shirt or VCS colours (blue & yellow)
PRAY – Join us on campus for the following prayer times:

- Tuesday, May 13th: full community prayer walk at 3:30 pm meet at SC Entrance.
- Thursday morning prayer walks 8:05- 8:20 am meet at EC Office
- 3rd Monday of every month at 2:15 pm, the next ones are May 26th & June 9th
- Monday, June 2nd before the AGM at 6:30 pm meet at SC Commons
- Wear your Make Way t-shirt or VCS colours (blue & yellow)
June 5th: our annual VCS Fun Run in support of Make Way

- Students are challenged to collect pledges leading up to the Run (more details to come!)
- 9:30 – 10:20 am (parents are encouraged to be there!)
- All money raised supports Make Way and may receive the matching grant!
- Contests and prizes will be awarded
- Wear your Make Way t-shirt or VCS colours (blue & yellow)
