VCS middle school & high school students support the Vernon Salvation Army Food Drive!
Students in Vernon Christian Middle and High School competed to see which crew group could gather the most non-perishable items for the local food bank. Collectively students at our secondary campus brought in just over 735 pounds of non-perishable food items! Well done! Downtown Fresh Co, a local Vernon business, joined our students’ donations with an additional donation of $1,200 in gift cards!
It’s a tangible way that we can serve our local community. VCS elementary students, kindergarten to grade 6 will be holding a food drive this week to also bring in non-perishable items for the Salvation Army food bank.
