Are you passionate about our school? Do you have ideas and experience to help our school reach its greatest potential? VCS is actively seeking qualified individuals to serve on our school board.
Volunteer Board members attend approximately 10 regular meetings a year. Depending upon your interest, skill, and background, there may be additional opportunities to participate in other committees to support the Society in serving the community.
We are looking for:
- A full VCS Society member, in good standing
- A Christian role model in attitude, speech and action towards others
- Believe that the Bible is God’s word and standard for faith and daily living
- Understands and is committed to a Christian philosophy of education
- Leadership experience (preferred)
- Previous board or committee experience (preferred)
- Varied experiences help to give the board unique perspectives.
We know that our Vernon Christian School Society is full of passionate and talented parents.
