Elementary Parents,

Our K–6 Celebration of Learning is on Thursday, May 7th, from 5:30–7:30 pm. (Sorry, it was listed wrong in the email)

Please note that this is considered school time for your children. Students and families are expected to actively participate in classroom instruction and curriculum-based learning throughout the evening.

When you walk through the doors on May 7th, you will experience learning in action—hearing directly from students and seeing firsthand what is happening in our classrooms. Our deep hope is that guests will see children engaged in transformational learning and growing in their desire to play an active role in God’s story.

Event Details

  • Time: 5:30–7:30 PM
  • Location: Elementary Campus
  • Presentation: All families will gather in the gym at 7:10 pm for a special presentation

Your child’s teacher has sent a more detailed classroom schedule. Each student will have specific responsibilities for part of the evening and is encouraged to explore other classrooms with their parents during the remainder of the evening.

Highlights of the Evening

  • Student Learning in Action
Our students are excited to share! We encourage parents to ask questions and engage with the learning you see. This helps students build confidence and deepen their understanding.
  • Grades 5 & 6 Market (Gym)
Stop by to support our students as they sell items they’ve created. Proceeds will go toward student-selected fundraisers.
Please bring cash (no debit available).
  • Student Supervision
Students are required to stay with their families throughout the evening unless they are participating in a scheduled classroom responsibility or signed into Kids Zone.
  • Kids Zone (Ages 3–4)
Sign-in/out will take place in the Grade 5 classroom. Children not in the Kids Zone must remain with their parents, as supervision is not provided elsewhere.
  • PIA Gift Baskets
View and enter to win! Tickets will be available for purchase during the evening.
Interac is available for gift basket tickets (please save cash for the student market).
  • Celebration of Learning Brochure
Pick one up at the entrance to help guide your visit.

This is an important evening for your child and your family. It is considered part of your child’s learning and is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate who we are as a school community.

We look forward to seeing you there!
