On November 15th our intermediate students from VCS hit the streets for “Driven to Serve”. We went all over the Vernon area, including a couple of new placements, Orchard Valley and Abbeyfield House. We had been trying to get to Abbeyfield House for a couple weeks to rake leaves. With the early snow dump and extra cold weather at the beginning of November, we weren’t sure if this was going to be possible.
Sure enough, God gave us some warm, albeit wet, weather to complete the task at hand. And as you can see, it was very much appreciated! Way to go, VCS!!
