and Pickleball Challenge

SAVE THE DATE: Grandparents/ Grand-Friend Day at VCS! We are excited to welcome our grandparents & Grand-Friends to Vernon Christian School. NEW this year, we are hosting a Pickleball Challenge for students & grandparents to participate in.
NEW TIME Grandparents/ Grandfriends Day – May 22, Schedule of Events
10 am
- Grandparents and grand-friends arrive and make their way to the elementary gym for the music presentation
11 am
- Elementary campus classroom visits
11:45 am
- Grandparents & Grand-friends make their way to the hillside for lunch with their grandchildren
12:45 pm
- Pickleball Challenge begins
- Longest Rally Game for grades 1 to 6 with grandparents
1:15 pm
- King / Queen of the court games – grades 7-12 with grandparents.
- Hard Hat tour of our new expansion for grandparents
2:45 pm
- Dismissal
- We encourage grandparents and parents to take their grandkids home a bit early, as this helps make room in our parking lot.
Grandparents are encouraged to check out our gift basket fundraiser. Tickets will be available for purchase during the afternoon activities on Grandparent Day. Cash, VISA or Mastercard will be accepted.
